Like 9 but usually not more than 15 cm; basal leaves 0-6-l-4cm wide, spathulate; capitula very occasionally 2(—3); involucral bracts often more than 1 mm wide, usually densely pubescent. 2n= 18. Rocks and mountain grassland, 1400-2100 m; calcicole. • Carpathians. Cz Po Rm.
