Acaulescent, or with stem up to 8 cm. Leaves longpetiolate. Capitula solitary. Involucre 15-18 mm in diameter, ovoid-globose; appendages with apical spine 4-8 mm. Florets pale yellow. Pappus as long as achene. N.E. Spain (provs. Teruel and Tarragona).
