Description of Hyphomicrobium facile View in CoL W2-3-3
Cells are Gram-staining-negative, non-flagellated, and rod-shaped. Colonies are circular, raised, and entire yellow colored after 2 days on R2 A agar at 25° C. Negative for nitrate reduction, indole production, glucose fermentation, esculin hydrolysis, and arginine dihydrolase, gelatinase, urease, and β -galactosidase activities. Does not utilize D-glucose, L-arabinose, D-mannose, D-mannitol, D-maltose, N -acetyl-glucosamine, capric acid, adipic acid, and potassium gluconate. Strain W 2- 3-3 (= NIBRBA0000114206) was isolated from mineral water, Daejeon, Korea .
