Length (including forewing): ♂ 11.40 mm.

External morphology. Body dark brown ( Fig. 4A View FIGURE 4 ). Crown ( Fig. 4C View FIGURE 4 ) anterior margin slightly angulate with three triangularly arranged small tubercles at apex, length shorter than width between eyes. Exposed part of mesonotum and scutellum ( Figs. 4B, D View FIGURE 4 ) truncated well short of clavus, exposed part of mesonotum about 1/5 as long as scutellum, scutellum with centre compressed into keel vertically and obliquely truncate subapically in lateral view, median longitudinal ridge moderately weak and extended over entire scutellum. Forewing with one light-colored band present between apical cells and appendix. Abdomen with pair of yellow patches on 5th tergite submedially. Hind femur with 6 macrosetae at apex, tibia with ca. 9, 11 setae in rows AD, PD, respectively.

Male genitalia. Pygofer ( Figs. 4 View FIGURE 4 F–I) with dorsal inner margin nearly straight, subapex of ventral margin a little angulate, many small short setae arranged along ventral margin; ventral appendage about half as long as pygofer, apical 2/5 sharply curved backward and tapering. Subgenital plate shorter than pygofer. Apical margin of connective ( Figs. 4 View FIGURE 4 J–L) nearly straight; style about 1.8x as long as connective, apical part reduced but beyond middle of connective; connective about twice as wide as long. Aedeagus tubular without teeth, preatrium about as long as shaft, gonopore at shaft apex.

Material examined. 1♂ (Holotype): Honghua , Shenlongjia, Hubei Province, China, 24.VII.1980, Peiyu Yu ( IZCAS) .
