NON Iulus (sic!) pulchellus — Rangaswamy et al., 1983: 11 (M, R).
Remark: This is a subcosmopolitan, often horticultural pest species of East Mediterranean origin. The first record was said to have been checked by J.G. Blower, a renowned British specialist. The second Indian record under the name of one of the junior synonyms, N. pulchellus , is likely to be a misidentification.
