Remark: The Indian records and Krishnan’s (1968) redescription and assignment to Thyropygus , which again lacked male characters, are certainly erroneous because T. poseidon is endemic to Sri Lanka ( Jeekel 2006: 50; De Zoysa et al. 2016).
