Junin: Yauli, Morococha, Marmolejo lagoon, Ticlio mine, route PE-22, km 133, 4715 m, 11º35′51.5”S, 76º10′47.4”W, 23 Sep 2012, grasses, Lado 21759 (MA-Fungi 94525) GoogleMaps .

Notes. The material studied matched the species description in Martin & Alexopoulos (1969); however, some collections presented a slightly orange colour at the bases of the sporothecae. Besides, the collection Lado 26270 was the only one with smooth spores.
