Notes. This species develops laterally compressed plasmodiocarps, triple peridium, and dehiscence along an apical longitudinal line. Due to its colour, this species may resemble Ph. bogoriense but differ by the not laterally compressed plasmodiocarps and the triangular reflex lobules of the peridium after dehiscence.
