Specimen examined. PERU. Ancash: Huari, Huari, Huamparán , 10 km north of Huamparán on the route PE-14C, 3996 m, 9º12′40”S, 77º12′14”W, 12 May 2018, bark, leaves and woody debris of Polylepis sp. , Lado 26437a (MA-Fungi 97222) GoogleMaps .

Notes. The only specimen collected presents ageing signs, which hindered its specific identification. However, the long tapering free ends of the capillitium, 60–80 µm long, approach the specimen to T. botrytis .
