Distribution. AF: most of e. Africa, South Africa. PA: Egypt, Israel.

Egyptian localities. Coastal Strip: Alexandria, Dekheila, Mariout. Eastern Desert : Ghoubbet El-Bous. Fayoum: Siala. Lower Nile Valley and Delta: Very common throughout Lower Egypt and Delta . Host plants. Marsh fleabane ( Pluchea dioscoridis (L.) DC.).

Dates of collection. March to November.
