Distribution. AF, AU, NT, NE, OR, PA: Widespread over Tropics and Subtropics of the world, Japan, Australia, s. Europe, Korea. Throughout new world from southern Canada to Chile; India; Hawaii (introduced). Egyptian localities. Coastal Strip: Abu Qir, Alexandria, Mariout, Salloum. Eastern Desert: Ismailiya, Wadi Um Elek. Gebel Elba:?. Fayoum:?. Lower Nile Valley and Delta: Abu Rawash, Cairo, Ezbet El-Nakhl, Helwan, Maadi, Shubra.
