Remarks. According to Bezark (2023b), Monné (2023a), and Tavakilian & Chevillotte (2023), this species occurs in Mexico (Jalisco, Guerrero, and Colima), Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, French Guiana, Brazil (Amazonas, Pará, Rondônia, Mato Grosso, Bahia, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, S„o Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul), Bolivia (Cochabamba, La Paz, Santa Cruz, Tarija), Paraguay, Argentina (Jujuy, Tucumán, Misiones), and Uruguay. However, Napp & Martins (1998) reported that they examined specimen(s) from “Mato Grosso: Corumbá.” Currently, Corumbá is in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul (see remarks in Cosmoplatidius lycoides ). Therefore, there is need to add Mato Grosso do Sul in the list of Brazilian states where the species has formal record.
