Type:— Tulipa greigii Regel View in CoL in Gartenflora 22: 290, t. 773. (1873).

Five species have been found in Uzbekistan. Species are usually with red tepals, with markings on leaf surface, and habitats are located in the lowlands, foothills and middle mountains belt of Tian-Shan, Pamir-Alay and Turkmenistan ( Everett 2013).
