Redescription (based on newly obtained material). FEMALE (n=10; Figs. 2 View FIGURE 2 –4). Gnathosoma 53–58 long and 75– 83 wide. Chelicerae about 70 long and 40 wide. Idiosoma 350–375 long and 225–265 wide. Propodonotal shield 110–125 long and 70–75 wide. Hysteronotal shield 200–210 long in midline and 120–125 wide at level of bases of setae e2. Dorsal idiosomal setae very thin and weakly observable, 12–24 long. Anterior margin of hysteronotal shield slightly concave. Canal of bursa copulatrix about 25 long. Coxal apodemes Ia 70 long, widely separated from each other, shortest distance between Ia–Ia 60, flanking epigynal arch and almost fused with it at posterior third. Epigynal arch about 70 long. Coxal apodemes IIa straight, 70–75 long; shortest distance IIa-IIa 100. Anal slit 90 long. Setae ps3 and ps2 subequal. Lengths of setae and solenidia: se 175–185, cp 100–105, h2 320–340, h3 240–270, w and r of tarsi III and IV 10 long (less than 2 wide), ω 1 I and ω 3 I 40–43, ω1 II 25–27, φ I 120–130, φ II 130–140, φ III 110–120, φ IV 80 –90, σ 1 I 12–13, σ 2 I 7–8, σ III 60 –64. Approximate distances between setal bases: se–se 125, c1–c1 100, d1–d1 85, d2–d2 185, e1– e1 85, e2–e2 145, f2–f2 125, ps1–ps1 50, ps2–ps2 85, ps3–ps3 20, se–si 7; approximate distances between levels of setal bases: c1–d1 50, d1–d2 5, d1– e1 60, e1– e2 35. Material examined. 1 female and 1 male paratypes ( IRSNB), ex nest of Tachornis phoenicobia ( Apodiformes : Apodidae ), CUBA: Ciudad de La Habana, Playa El Salado, Bauta, 19 March 1980, coll. N. Cuervo & J. Cruz; 20 heteromorphic males, 20 homeomorphic males, 20 females, 20 tritonymphs ( ZISP), 3 heteromorphic males, 7 homeomorphic males, 4 females, 3 tritonymphs, 1 protonymph ( UMMZ) from nest of Tachornis phoenicobia in palm leaf roof top of shed, CUBA: Artemisa, park 1 km N of Las Terrazas, 22°51'11.3" N 82°56'18.9" W, 15 May 2014, coll. P. Klimov ( BMOC 14-0515-013). Some specimens were passed to Museo de Historia Natural Felipe Poey (Universidad de La Habana, Cuba) (1 female, 1 male) and Laboratorio Central de Cuarentena Vegetal (La Habana, Cuba) (1 female, 1 male).

Remarks. In the original work, holotype or type series were not designated. Colloff (2009) reported that the holotype and paratypes of this species are in del Instituto de Zoología, Academia de Ciencias de Cuba, La Havana, Cuba; additional paratypes are in the Institut Royal des Sciences Naturelles de Belguque, Brussels, Belgium and in the Institute of Parasitology, Czech Academy of Sciences, Czeske Budejovice, Czech Republic.
