Lemula gorodinskii henanica Holzschuh, 2009: 269 View in CoL , fig. 2. Type locality: Baotianman, Funiushan, West Henan, China.
Diagnosis. Male: BL = 7.6–7.9 mm. This subspecies differs from nominal subspecies by antennal color which are getting darker from antennomere IV to XI, pronotum almost as long as width across lateral tubercles (PL/PW = 0.98); denser and deeper punctures with long brownish hairs on elytra; elytra less than twice humeral width (EL/EW = 1.96); elytral hairs as long as space between punctures.
Endophallus (Type C). Almost identical with nominotypical subspecies.
Female: BL = 8.8 mm. EL/EW = 1.95
Type material examined. Lemula gorodinskii henanica Holzschuh, 2009 : Holotype ♂ ( CCH), “ CHINA, West- Henan / Funiu Shan, Baotianman / 33.5°N 111.9°E / leg. J. Turna, 15,- 17. V. 2005 ”, “ HOLOTYPUS / Lemula goro- dinskii / henanica n. ssp. /det. C. Holzschuh 2009 ”.
Other material examined. [ China]: Baotianman (1ξ曼), E. Funiu Shan, West Henan [2♂♂, 1♀, (paratypes), 15–17-V-2005, J. Turna ( CCH)] .
Distribution. China (Henan).
Ecology. Flight period: May.
Remarks. This subspecies was collected together with L. (s. str.) lata lata at Baotianman, but it is distinguishable by the bicolored abdominal ventrites of male, and narrower pronotum. It is distinguishable from the nominotypical subspecies by moderately dense and distinct punctures of elytra with moderate length suberect hairs.
