This species was recovered from the Oligocene of the King George Island, Antarctica. It was briefly described due to the scarcity and poor preservation of the carapaces, the internal features being unknown. For this reason, this relatively large ostracod (l = 0.84 mm) was only tentatively assigned to this genus.
