scientific name

Hyperolius nossibeensis
status

(1) Hyperolius nossibeensis View in CoL . Glaw and Vences (1993) concluded that the locality was wrong and likely based on a mistake with the locality of a Mantidactylus granulatus which was originally preserved in the same jar. The types of nossibeensis most likely correspond to the African species Hyperolius viridiflavus and should thus be considered as synonym of this species (or of another species of the H. viridiflavus complex).
