Plectolyngbya sp.1 ( Fig. 7A–B View FIGURE 7 ).

Filaments entangled. Sheath firm thin observed only when without cells or 0.71–1.64 µm wide, hyaline. Trichomes cylindrical, erect or slightly coiled after branches, constricted or not, false geminate or single branches.Cells isodiametric to subquadratical, 1.46–3.13 µm wide, 1.45–3.66 µm long, ratio l/w = 0.98. Apical cells rounded, without calyptra or thickening. Cell content homogenous to granulated, with 1–2 granules per cell near cell wall, blue-green, with distinct chromatoplasma. Necridia present.

Habitat: —Clay Brick.

Notes: —This morphotype resembles Plectolyngbya hodgsonii Taton, Wilmotte, Marda, Elster & Komárek , but differs from P. hodgsonii by habitat, being describe for Antartic.
