Endrődi (1966) did not discuss the type material of this species or report its housing institution.

Remarks.

Cyclocephala paraguayensis was recorded from Honduras ( Endrődi 1966, 1985a). Further studies have not encountered C. paraguayensis in Honduras, and this species is probably restricted to South America ( Ratcliffe and Cave 2006).
