IDENTITY. — An undescribed species near Metapelma mirabile Brues, 1906 described from South Africa.

SPECIMENS. — MNHN.14.77. One dry mounted female in a wooden slide, labeled in Risbec’s handwriting: “N°39 Eupelminae / s- tronc/ mandarinier/ Bambey/ 4-5-47; Metapelma / obscurata / Westw.”.
