Female. Length 6 1/2 lines. The head, thorax, legs, and petiole of the abdomen, ferruginous; the mandibles with four or five black teeth; the head and thorax longitudinally striated, and clothed, as well as the legs, with a thin erect fulvous pubes- cence; wings dark fuscous; the metathorax with a stout tooth on each side; the truncation transversely striated. Abdomen black; the nodes subglobose, the first attached to the thorax by a short stout petiole, and covered with erect fuscous pubescence.

Hab. Borneo (Sarawak).
