Anteon scrupulosum He & Xu 2002: 224 ; type locality: Kunming (Yunnan, China); syn. nov.

Description of Male. Fully winged; length 1.8–3.5 mm. Head black or occasionally brown, except mandible testaceous; antenna brown, except segments 1–2 testaceous (antenna completely testaceous in specimen from China, Mt. Jianfengling); mesosoma and metasoma black; legs testaceous, or occasionally brown. Antenna filiform; antennal segments in following proportions: 8:4:5:4:4:4.5:5:4.5:4.5:6. Head shiny, smooth, slightly or strongly punctate, unsculptured among punctures; face without two lateral keels running along orbits towards antennal toruli; frontal line present or absent (in three specimens from China, Mt. Liupanshan, vertex behind ocelli and temples partly rugose); head of holotype with POL = 5; OL = 3; OOL = 7; OPL = 2.5; TL = 3; in specimens from China, Taiwan, POL = 4.5; OOL = 3.5; in a specimen from Australia, Christmas Island, POL = 4; OOL = 4; in specimen from China, Mt. Liupanshan, POL = 4; OL = 2; OOL = 7; OPL = 5; TL = 5; greatest breadth of posterior ocelli shorter than OPL (3:5); occipital carina complete. In specimen from China, Nanling National Nature Reserve, Protection Station, face laterally with few areolae. Scutum shiny, smooth, slightly or strongly punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Notauli incomplete, reaching about 0.3–0.5 length of scutum. Scutellum slightly punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Metanotum unsculptured. Propodeum reticulate rugose, with strong transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; posterior surface with two longitudinal keels and median area partly rugose and partly shiny, smooth, unsculptured. Fore wing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein shorter than proximal part (4:8). Genital armature damaged in holotype; paramere ( Plate 39B View PLATE 39 ) without distal inner process. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Remarks. Christmas Island belongs politically to Australia, but it is in the Oriental zoogeographical region. The synonymy between A. scrupulosum He & Xu and A. peterseni Olmi is here established after comparison between the holotypes of both species. They were like.
