Bocchus laotianus Olmi 1984: 635 .

Description of Female. Fully winged; length 3.4–3.9 mm. Head black; antenna brown, except segments 1–2 or 1–3 yellow; mesosoma and metasoma black; legs yellow. Antenna clavate. Head dull, hairy, slightly granulated and reticulate rugose; areas on sides of ocelli not reticulate rugose; occipital carina complete; ocellar triangle equilateral; mandible quadridentate, with one rudimentary tooth between two posterior teeth. Scutum shiny, hairy, granulated, reticulate rugose near anterior margin. Notauli complete, posteriorly separated. Scutellum shiny, hairy, punctate, reticulate rugose near posterior margin, about twice as long as metanotum. Metanotum reticulate rugose. Propodeum reticulate rugose; posterior surface with two complete longitudinal keels. Fore wing with one dark transverse band; stigmal vein slightly curved ( Plate 65C View PLATE 65 ); pterostigma short and narrow. Protarsal segments 1–4 in following proportions: 20:3:3:14. Enlarged claw ( Plate 65E View PLATE 65 ) with one row of ten teeth and one bristle. Segment 5 of protarsus ( Plate 65E View PLATE 65 ) with one preapical lamella and two bristles. Tibial spurs 1/1/1.

Male. Unknown.

Material examined. Types: holotype ♀: LAOS: Vientiane Prov., Ban Van Eue ( BPBM) . Paratype: same locality label as holotype, 1♀ ( AMNH) . Other material. MALAYSIA: Malaya, Negeri Sembilan, Pasoh Forest Reserve ( AEIC) .
