Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna testaceous, except segment 10 darkened; mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs testaceous, except coxae partly brown and club of profemur brown. In holotype antennal segment 10 only partly darkened and legs totally testaceous. Antenna clavate; antennal segments of holotype in the following proportions: 13:7:10:8.5:7:7:7:7:6:8. Head dull, completely strongly reticulate rugose; frontal line complete; face with two lateral longitudinal keels around orbits and directed towards antennal toruli; occipital carina complete; holotype with POL = 7; OL = 4; OOL = 5; OPL = 8; TL = 4; greatest breadth of posterior ocelli as long as OL; paratype from Japan, Takamoto-sen, with POL = 5; OL = 4; OOL = 5; OPL = 6; TL = 4; greatest breadth of posterior ocelli as long as OL. Pronotum shiny, sculptured by numerous transverse keels; posterior surface mostly smooth, unsculptured, short, shorter than scutum (8: 18 in holotype; 7: 18 in paratype from Japan, Takamoto-sen); pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Scutum shiny, finely punctate, unsculptured or very slightly granulated among punctures. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.2 length of scutum. Scutellum shiny, punctate, unsculptured among punctures, with transverse row of large areolae near posterior margin. Metanotum dull, rugose. Propodeum reticulate rugose, with strong transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; posterior surface without longitudinal keels. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein much shorter than proximal part (3:12). Protarsal segments of holotype in following proportions: 11:3:4:6:18; protarsal segments of paratype from Japan, Takamotosen, in following proportions: 11:3:5:5:19. Protarsal segments 2–4 not produced into hook. Segment 5 of protarsus (Plate 140A) with basal part about as long as distal part. Enlarged claw (Plate 140A) with proximal prominence bearing one long bristle. Segment 5 of protarsus (Plate 140) with two rows of 24–29 lamellae; distal apex with 4–5 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
