( Plate 17B–D View PLATE 17 )

Anteon achterbergi Olmi 1991: 176 ; Olmi 2008a: 361; He & Xu 2002: 155.

Description of Female. Fully winged; length 2.2–2.6 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna testaceous, except segments 6–10 or 8–10 black or brown; prothorax testaceous–reddish; rest of mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs testaceous. Antenna clavate; antennal segments in following proportions: 14:6:6:4:4:5:5:5:4.5:7. Head shiny, with face completely reticulate rugose and granulated; vertex almost completely smooth, not reticulate rugose, with two oblique keels connecting posterior ocelli to occipital carina; frontal line complete; occipital carina complete; face with two lateral keels near orbits directed towards antennal toruli; holotype with POL = 7; OL = 5; OOL = 5; OPL = 4; TL = 5; in specimen from the United Arab Emirates, 25°08'N 56°21'E, POL = 6; OL = 4; OOL = 4; OPL = 4; TL = 4; greatest breadth of posterior ocelli shorter than OPL (3:4). In specimen from the Philippines, Mt. Makiling, face almost completely smooth, only with anterior third reticulate rugose. In specimen from China, Hainan, Meilan, face shiny, weakly rugose and with transverse irregular keels, except area in front of anterior ocellus smooth and partly unsculptured; vertex shiny, unsculptured, ecept few irregular keels on sides of ocellar triangle and two oblique keels from posterior ocelli to occipital carina. Pronotum shiny, smooth, unsculptured, raised into transverse carina between anterior and posterior surface ( Plate 17B View PLATE 17 ); posterior surface approximately as long as anterior surface, shorter than scutum (7:16); pronotal tubercle reaching the tegulae. Scutum, scutellum and metanotum shiny, smooth, finely punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Notauli incomplete, very short, only shortly present near anterior margin of scutum, at most reaching approximately 0.25 length of scutum. Propodeum with strong transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; dorsal surface reticulate rugose; posterior surface reticulate rugose, without longitudinal keels; in some specimens from the Philippines, Mt. Makiling, and China, Taiwan anterior half of posterior surface of propodeum almost completely smooth. Fore wing with two dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein much shorter than proximal part (2.5:5.5). Protarsal segments in following proportions: 6:2:2.5:4.5:12. Enlarged claw ( Plate 17C View PLATE 17 ) with proximal prominence bearing one long bristle. Segment 5 of protarsus ( Plate 17C View PLATE 17 ) with two rows of approximately 15–22 lamellae extending continuously to distal apex. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Description of Male. Fully winged; length 1.7–1.9 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna testaceous; mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs testaceous, except coxae basally black or brown. Antenna hairy, filiform; antennal segments in following proportions: 9:4:4:4:4:4:4:4:4:7. Head shiny, hairy, sculptured by numerous irregular keels, unsculptured among keels; frontal line complete; POL = 6; OL = 3.5; OOL = 4; OPL = 2; TL = 3; greatest breadth of posterior ocelli as long as OPL; ocelli joined by slight keels or folds; occipital carina complete. Scutum, scutellum and metanotum hairy, shiny, unsculptured. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.2 length of scutum. Occasionally scutum partly very slightly granulated. Propodeum with strong transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; dorsal surface reticulate rugose; posterior surface reticulate rugose, without longitudinal keels. Fore wing hyaline, without dark transverse band; stigmal vein forming angle between distal and proximal part; distal part of stigmal vein shorter than proximal part (1.5:5.5). Paramere ( Plate 17D View PLATE 17 ) with large inner rounded distal process; distal apex of above process located very far from distal extremity of paramere and provided of many bristles ( Plate 17D View PLATE 17 ). Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
