Comments. This species has been treated in only two publications and has never been illustrated. Originally placed in Metadiaea Mello-Leitão, 1929 (a genus currently considered monotypic), its habitus and epigyne are dissimilar to those of the generotype, M. magnus ( Keyserling, 1880) . Instead, they resemble Misumenoides sensu Lehtinen & Marusik (2008) , although these authors did not study the type species of Misumenoides . When describing the species, Caporiacco overlooked the ventral spines on the metatarsi of legs III and IV.
