Remarks. Pogona vitticeps is native to Australia ( Cogger 2014), and is exceedingly common in the pet trade, being one of the most familiar and purchased pet reptiles ( Bartlett 2006). As such, the individual found at Telok Blangah on 21 January 2018 is most definitely an abandoned pet (Wong & Lim 2018). A dead one was also seen floating in Kranji Reservoir on 13 January 2021 (J. Tan pers. comm.).
