Lycodon effraenis — Cox et al., 1998: 62.—Chan-ard et al., 1999: 33.— Iskandar & Colijn, 2000: 67.— Chan-ard et al., 2015: 198.

Remarks. Cox et al. (1998) listed Singapore as part of the distribution for L. effraenis , but we are unsure where they acquired the record from since there are no specimens and no publications reporting it from Singapore. Lycodon effraenis is distributed from Thailand south to Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, and Borneo (Wallach et al. 2014).
