Distribution: Coastal C Queensland, from Fitzroy River north to lower Burdekin-Bowen Rivers; Whitsunday Isl ( Australia).

Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc). Localized.

Discussion: P. lateralis / penicillata species-group.
