Feeding Observations. One individual was observed manipulating a 2.5 cm diameter ball of mammal fur.

Bdelyrus laplanadae Cook. La Planada Natural Reserve (18179N, 788159W), Dept. Nario, Colombia. Could forest, 1,800 m. 12.VI.94.
Feeding Observations. Eight individuals were feeding on decayed fruit of Qouraribae ( Bombacaceae ) inside the forest. During an entire year (1993) of sampling in this locality only one individual was captured in pitfall traps baited with human excrement.
