Distribution: S Nigeria, both west and east of the Niger in the delta region; Benin.
Conservation: CITES – Appendix II; U.S. ESA – Endangered; IUCN – Endangered as C. e. erythrogaster and C. e. pococki.
Discussion: C. cephus species group.
