This species is characterized by its sessile or short-stalk sporocarps, small spores 7.8‒9.9(‒10) × (8‒)8.2‒10 µm in diam., and capillitium filaments ornamented with spiral bands with abundant spines. Our observations confirm the data assembled by Rammeloo (1984) based on the same collection.
