Comments: The holotype of Megalopus vittatus had the type label removed and was identified and labelled by Guérin as a synonym of Megalopus unifasciatus Pic, 1916 . However, that synonymy has not been published. The specimen can be reliably recognised as the holotype by the labels’ data and accession number.
