Spangled Perch

One of the most widespread species in the Kimberley (and Australia), Leiopotherapon unicolor has been captured from all the major river systems and their tributaries in the region ( Fig. 32). The species is usually more abundant in tributaries than main-channel sites within the Kimberley (see Morgan et al. 2006, Morgan in press).
