Fitzroy River Glassfish
Differing in morphology from Ambassis Sp. 1 by possession of a deeper body and caudal peduncle, shorter snout, smooth hind margin of the preoperculum and operculum and variation in serrae and coloration (Morgan, unpublished data), it is known only from the Fitzroy River ( Fig. 25).
