Current name: Cistus ladanifer L. View in CoL ( Cistaceae ).

Note: Specific epithet spelled “ladanifera” in the protologue. Carazo Román & Jiménez Albarrán (in Bot. Complut. 14: 111. 1989) wrongly designated 689.6 (LINN), a specimen annotated only by Linnaeus filius and not original material for the name, as lectotype.
