This tribe contains a single genus, Cacoplistes Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1873 . The key characters include: the presence of large longitudinal lateral keels on the pronotum, inability to jump, quadrangular transverse section of all tibiae and the absence of articulated spines on hind tibiae.
