Remarks. This species was described from specimens collected in Golden Gate Highland National Park, Orange Free State, South Africa, on Cydonia oblonga . No additional specimens were collected in the present study.
Chant and McMurtry did not list this species in any genus in their revision of the subfamily Amblyseiinae . However, it fits the description of Aristadromips (tribe Typhlodromipsini ).
