= Agathidiodes Portevin, 1944: 169 (replacement name for Agathodes Portevin ); Newton 1983a (synonymy).

S. laticollis Fall, 1910: 4 ; Wheeler 1981: 165. Holotype male in MCZC. Type locality: Steuben County, Indiana. North American distribution: USA: IN. Biology: Blatchley (1910). Host: Sphagnum moss.
