Dasyhelea leptocladus Remm, 1967: 19 View in CoL (male, Azerbaijan, Russia: Dagestan); García Sánchez & Sahuquillo Herráiz 1986: 95 (female, Spain).
Dasyhelea leptoclada: Szadziewski 1983: 66 (saline habitats, Poland).
Distribution. Poland, Spain, Russia (Dagestan), Azerbaijan.
Discussion. This western Palaearctic meridional species breeds in saline habiatats and we reared it from wet saline soil (present observations). The record from Germany ( Havelka & Aguilar 1999) is questionable because it did not contain locality data, and therefore, we have not included this country in this section.
