DIAGNOSIS. — Test pear shape in outline, with longitudinal costae, aperture rounded with small lip, wall hyaline, perforate, aboral opening.

TYPE SPECIES. — Laevilagena guttaformis View in CoL n. sp.

ETYMOLOGY. — From Latin lēvis (smooth) and lăgoena (bottle).

DESCRIPTION

Test pear-shaped in outline, partly ornamented with longitudinal costae; aperture rounded with small lip; wall hyaline, perforate; aboral opening.
