Dreizölliger Walch
20-50 cm hoch. Ähre spindelförmig, 3-6 cm lang (ohne Grannen), mit 4-7 Ährchen, wovon das oberste steril ist. Hüllspelzen mit 2 oder 3 spreizenden, 3-6 cm langen Grannen. Deckspelzen mit 3 kurzen Grannen. - Blüte: Später Frühling und Sommer.

Standort. Wie A. ovata (Nr. 1).
Verbreitung. Mediterrane Pflanze: Ganzes Mediterrangebiet; ostwärts bis Afghanistan und Zentralasien (Verbreitungskarte von Eig 1929); nach Nordamerika verschleppt. - Im südlichsten Teil des Gebiets gelegentlich eingeschleppt.
