Diagnosis. Mandibles longer than length of clypeus, distinctly cross each other. Clypeus usually as wide as long, usually apically emarginate, sometimes truncate. Female with cephalic fovea present in depression. Vertex slightly sloping behind ocelli. Pronotal carina well developed. Anterior vertical face of pronotum smooth and shiny, has no foveae/transverse striae. Mesepisternum with epicnemial carina present. Pretegular carina well developed. Tegula longer than wide, posterior end of tegula emarginate adjoining parategula but not produced beyond that of parategula. Mesoscutum and scutellum extensively punctate, without prescutal furrows. Axillary fossa narrow, slitlike. Metanotum not dentate. Propodeum has no shelf, it’s dorsum below plane of metanotum. Propodeum without transverse ridge dorsally. Superior carina of propodeum more or less developed, sometimes indistinct. Sometimes they appear as two teeth behind metanotum as in Euodynerus . Propodeal orifice wide dorsally. Submarginal carina not produced as pointed process, propodeal valvula not free from submarginal carina posteriorly. Metasoma not petiolate. T1 short, about twice wider than long, with a vertical front face, slightly convex. Along line of meeting of front face with dorsal, well developed transverse carina present ( Fig. 54 View FIGURES 48 – 54. 48 ). T2 and T3, or T2–T4, have an apical lamella often long, brown or brownish-black. In ♂ lamella even present on T5. S2 sub flat at base. Prestigma equal to half length of pterostigma. SMC2 basally acute. Mid tibia with one apical spur. ♂: F11 hook like, rounded apically; F10, F11 shorter than previous ones; no cavity on inner margin of flagellomeres. Body length usually 10– 12 mm.
