Catops kirbyi collaris Szymczakowski, 1976: 62 View in CoL . nov. syn. Type locality: Iran du Nord-ouest: Guilan, vallée de Nav, alt. 500 m.
Distribution in Iran. Guilan (Nav valley) ( SZymcZakowski 1976).
New material: MaZandaran, Chalus county, ElburZ mountains, N-slope, 7 km N Makarud, small stream, fagus forest, 1245 m, 38°35'64.9' N 51°09'55.4'' E, 03.vi.2008, leg. A. PütZ (in collection A. PütZ).
General distribution. Europe, Iran, Turkey ( Perreau 2015).
Remarks. The comparison with the holotype (MG) and the absence of clear differences justify the synonymy C. kirbyi collaris SZymcZakowski, 1976 = C. kirbyi kirbyi Spence, 1815 .
