Distribution: MD to FL to eastern TX to MO. Kentucky specimens are from the Appalachian foothills east of Berea and from just WSW of Cincinnati, OH ( Interior Plateau and Western Allegheny Plateau; Map 172).

Chemical lures: Uncertain (see below)

Comments: This typically diurnal species has also been found at lights. In testing possible lures, Miller et al. (2017) collected 47 specimens in 10-unit multiple funnel traps in northern GA—they came to baited and unbaited traps at the same rate, so perhaps Lindgren funnels alone are effective for collecting this rarely collected species.
