Distribution: KY to TX to eastern KS to northern IL. Kentucky specimens of this rarely collected species may represent the eastern-most collections of this species. All are from the Interior Plateau (Map 114)

Collections (6 records, 6 specimens): BG (1), EGCCRC (1), UKIC (4)

Collection methods: Malaise trap (3); Lindgren funnel trap baited with syn-2-3 hexanediol & ethanol

Larval host plants: Unknown

Chemical lures: Possibly syn-2-3 hexanediol (A. M. Ray et al. 2015)

Comments: Ray et al. (2015) suggested that this species might be attracted to syn-2-3 hexanediol and given that info and a known collecting locality ( UK South Farm, Lexington), EGC collected one with this lure at this locality in 2021.
