Distribution: MA to FL to AZ to WI. Kentucky collections of this widespread and commonly collected species are nearly statewide (Map 117).

Larval host plants: Acer rubrum , Carya spp ., Celtis laevigata , Diospyros virginiana , Juniperus virginiana , Pinus spp. , Quercus and Ulmus ( Monné & Nearns 2022c)

Chemical lures: C6-ketol, C6- + C8-ketols and anti -C6-ketol ( Millar et al. 2017).

Comments: A widespread and commonly collected species often found on dead and dying host branches,

especially Carya ( Bousquet et al. 2017) . Sometimes attracted to lights.

Distribution: MS to south FL to eastern TX to IL. Kentucky specimens are from the Interior Plateau and adjacent Western Allegheny Plateau (Map 118).

Comments: Most Kentucky specimens were collected by EGC in Malaise traps in the Appalachian foothills just east of Berea .
