Distribution: Southern PQ to south FL to eastern TX to MN. Kentucky specimens were collected in the eastern third of the state (Western Allegheny and Interior Plateaus ; Map 002).

Collection methods: Blacklight (1); Trap baited with α-pinene (1)

Larval host plants: Liquidambar styraciflua and Pinus spp. ( Monné & Nearns 2022d)

Chemical lures: Allison et al. (2013) reported that the lure combination of α-pinene + ethanol + ipsdienol + ipsenol is optimal, but that binary combinations of α-pinene + ethanol or ipsdienol + ipsenol also attract specimens.

Comments: Attracted to lights.
