Distribution: Holarctic in distribution. In North America , it ranges from NS to SC to AR to MN with additional records in CA and OR. Kentucky specimens were collected in the eastern half of the state (Map 139).

Chemical lures: 3R*-ketone + 2,3-diols and (R)-2-methylbutan-1-ol ( Hanks & Millar 2013)

Comments: This spring species (most Kentucky records in May) is attracted to lights.
