Distribution: Central PA to AL to eastern OK to central MO. Most Kentucky records are from the eastern third of the state and are of single specimens (Map 007).

Collection methods: Blacklight (11) and Malaise traps (6)

Larval host plants: Castanea , Comptonia peregrina, Gaylussia and Quercus spp. ( Monné & Nearns 2022c)

Comments: This genus was recently revised by Lingafelter (2022) and contains 43 New World species, two of which occur east of the Mississippi and one occurring in Kentucky. Attracted to lights.
